Job Summary:
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in a healthcare facility located in Saginaw, Michigan. This role involves maintaining patients' respiratory and cardiac stability following anesthesia, consistently assessing patient needs, and providing skilled nursing care in accordance with physician orders and established standards. The position requires active clinical engagement during daytime shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Michigan nursing license; 2+ years of PACU experience; current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification; pertinent skills and work history documented to 1 year relevant to the specialty (Post Anesthesia Care Unit).
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: This clinical role involves regularly assessing patients and implementing physician-directed care plans, including medication administration, treatments, assisting with transfers, and responding to alarms. Responsibilities also include evaluating treatment efficacy and updating care plans collaboratively. Submission of two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years is required, alongside proof of active licenses and certifications.
