Description
Job Summary:
Step Down Unit Registered Nurse in Petoskey, Michigan. This position involves providing specialized care in a critical unit that manages patients transitioning from intensive care to lower acuity settings, with a focus on cardiovascular and post-operative patients. The RN will utilize clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat patient responses, ensuring optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Michigan license verification; 1+ year of Stepdown nursing experience; proficiency in cardiac care; travel experience; EKG comfortability; willingness to float to similar units; skills checklist completed within one year of application.
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The position requires working in a highly regarded step down unit that has received recognition for excellence in patient care. The RN must be adaptable and able to respond to a diverse caseload involving complex cardiac procedures and post-operative care. Certification in ACLS and BLS is required. Candidates must provide relevant licenses and certifications as part of their profile.
