Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in San Francisco, California. This position involves providing comprehensive perioperative care in a busy surgical environment, supporting a variety of complex procedures including open and endoscopic cases. The role requires flexibility to float to other facilities within the organizations network as needed, with a focus on ensuring patient safety and operational efficiency.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 8-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: California Registered Nurse (RN) license; BSN; minimum of 3 years of OR experience; previous travel assignment experience; scrub and circulate experience; certifications including BLS and ACLS.
- Preferred Qualifications: CNOR certification, ACLS.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include handling complex surgeries such as Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery (OHNS), Craniotomy procedures, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS), Plastic Surgery, and Dental Surgery. Candidates should be comfortable managing open and endoscopic cases, including free flap reconstructive procedures. Experience with the Da Vinci Xi robotic surgical system and specialties such as liver, kidney, neuro, spine, and vascular surgery are preferred. Orientation hours are provided, and candidates must have a valid CA RN license in hand at the time of assignment. Travel experience is required.
