Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical Rehabilitation (MS REHAB) is sought for a healthcare facility located in Escondido, California. This position involves providing high-quality nursing care within a 52-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation setting focused on treating adult and geriatric patients recovering from severe injuries or illnesses. The RN will contribute to individualized rehabilitation programs aimed at maximizing patient health, function, and quality of life.
Job Details
- Shift: 12-hour shifts, days from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Schedule: 3 days per week, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Start Date: 08/10/2026
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS certification, 1+ years of nursing experience, California residency or license, ability to float if needed
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in medical surgical or rehabilitation nursing, familiarity with electronic health records, strong interpersonal skills
- Additional Information:
- Unit features 52 inpatient beds dedicated to adult and geriatric patients
- Nurse-to-patient ratio approximately 1:5
- Must be able to work at least four weekend shifts within a six-week schedule
- Parking available in garage, with a request for a temporary pass on the first day
- Scrub color can be any preferred color
- Upon arrival, ask for Robert Seely or the charge nurse
