Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. This role involves circulating, monitoring, and administering medications for patients undergoing cardiac procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, TAVR, ECMO, and others. The RN will be part of a team dedicated to patient safety and high-quality care within a teaching hospital environment.

Job Details:

• Location: Winston-Salem, North Carolina
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications; minimum 1 year of clinical experience, 2 years preferred; experience in sedation, circulation, monitoring, and medication administration within a Cardiac Cath Lab setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with procedures such as Impella, Watchman, TAVR, ECMO, and pediatric cases (including neonates and PFO).
• Support within the Department: Assistant Clinical Manager (RN), Physicians, Anesthesia/CRNA team, and RTs.
• Technology/Equipment: All Siemens X-ray systems, electronic medical records including EPIC, Cupid, Sensis.
• Orientation: Standard medical center orientation plus up to two weeks in the Cath Lab.
• Additional Information: No float rotation required. Scrub color provided; parking is free. The department emphasizes patient safety as a priority.
