Job Summary:
A staffing opportunity is available for a Skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Lancaster, Ohio. This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individual patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. The role requires leadership and supervision skills to coordinate care effectively, ensuring adherence to established policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Job Details:

• Shift Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license in the State of Ohio; completion of an accredited nursing programeither Diploma in Nursing, Associate degree in Nursing (ADN), or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN). Previous Registered Nursing experience preferred but not required. CPR certification required.
• Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) providing intermediate patient care with a focus on clinical assessment and critical thinking.
• Position Location: 401 North Ewing Street, Lancaster, Ohio, 43130.
• Position Start Date: 08/24/2026.

  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Capable of handling multiple priorities with critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Responsible for documentation, medication administration, and patient education from admission through discharge.
  • May supervise and direct Nursing Assistants in the healthcare setting.
  • Physical capacity includes heavy work with frequent patient handling activities.
  • Exercises self-control and manages urgent situations calmly and empathically.
