Job Summary
The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing specialized care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures at a healthcare facility in Grapevine, TX. This 12-hour daytime position involves critical patient monitoring, assessment, and intervention to ensure safe and effective recovery, utilizing evidence-based practices and collaborative teamwork.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, approximately 36 hours per week, starting on 09/07/2026. Specific shift times are days with potential for on-call responsibilities.
• Required Qualifications: RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), minimum of 2 years of critical care experience, with at least one year in inpatient acute care PACU. No minimum experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
• Float or Weekend Requirements: Yes, float rotation and weekend call may be required.
• Additional Information: The RN will assess patients, develop and implement care plans, and monitor recovery post-anesthesia. Responsibilities include managing patient needs, providing compassionate care, and supporting clinical teams in a fast-paced environment.
