Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse specializing in Open Heart procedures is sought for a healthcare organization located in Brooksville, Florida. This position involves working in a facility with approximately 350 beds, handling advanced cardiovascular surgical cases. The role requires clinical expertise in cardiac surgery and the ability to adapt to variable call schedules.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shifts with 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; at least 2 years of cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) experience; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; Current state license in Florida; no minimum years of experience required for other qualifications.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with open heart surgery; familiarity with perioperative cardiovascular protocols; certification in advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS).
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The selected candidate will work in a hospital setting with approximately 350 beds. The assignment involves working every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff per facility policy. Candidate must be prepared for variable call schedules and provide quality perioperative cardiovascular care.
