Description

Job Summary:
Long Term Care Registered Nurse (RN) in Gainesville, Florida. This role involves providing high-quality patient care within a specialized long-term care setting, ensuring adherence to care plans and promoting patient safety. The RN will supervise nursing staff, conduct assessments, and facilitate patient discharge planning to support optimal health outcomes.

Job Details:

  • Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Long Term Care (LTC) Gainesville, FL
  • Schedule: Night shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Start Date: 08/24/2026
  • Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification prior to first shift, valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification prior to first shift (CIRH only), minimum of two (2) years bedside clinical experience, education and licensing as a registered nurse, Florida state licensure, and eligible to work in the United States
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings is advantageous
  • Additional Information: The RN is responsible for performing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission, developing individualized care plans, and initiating discharge planning from day one. The role includes supervising ancillary staff, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and participating in team-building activities to foster a positive work environment. The RN must demonstrate strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and prioritize patient safety and quality outcomes.
