Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse in Texas this position involves providing high-quality nursing care in a busy 16-bed emergency department that handles a high volume of stroke, STEMI, trauma, psychiatric, geriatric, and pediatric patients. The nurse will work independently within the scope of practice, managing both routine and complex patient needs while coordinating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred; 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred; Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications: BLS (AHA only), ACLS (AHA only), PALS (AHA only), TNCC, RN License in state of TX or compact
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: The department treats a diverse patient population, including stroke, trauma, psychiatric, geriatric, and pediatric cases. The facility operates a 24/7 cath lab, with high patient volume and acuity. Candidates should be prepared to work within a fast-paced environment and adhere to facility protocols.
