Description
Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit Burn nurse located in Baltimore, Maryland. This position involves providing specialized care to burn injury patients in a dedicated burn unit on night shifts. The role requires delivering high-quality patient care in accordance with hospital standards and protocols, with a focus on wound management and critical patient monitoring.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: BLS certification, 2+ years of recent med-surg experience, comfort dealing with wounds, previous employment with any Johns Hopkins facilities (must be noted on coversheet and in work history)
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in burn unit care and additional certifications related to burn or trauma nursing are advantageous
- Float: Float rotation may be required; occasional floating to other med-surg floors is possible.
- Additional Information: Please verify prior employment with Johns Hopkins health system facilities before submitting a candidate. Candidates must have been away from Johns Hopkins facilities for at least one year if previously employed there.
