Job Summary:
Surgical Technician (Operating Room Technician) position located in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. This opportunity involves working as part of a surgical team in a Level III trauma center specializing in a variety of procedures including robotics, orthopedics, neuro/spine, urology, GYN, ENT, plastics, and trauma. The role requires certification and licensure in Colorado, with a rotating call schedule and four surgical suites.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Working 4-10 hour shifts with a rotating call schedule.
• Required Qualifications: Must have an active Colorado Surgical Technician (CST) license issued by the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA). Graduate of an accredited scrub technologist program. Certification in Surgical Technology from the National Board Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or Association of Surgical Technologists (AST) or NCCT. Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with orthopedic procedures, total joints, neuro/spine, robotics, urology, GYN, ENT, and plastics.
• Additional Information: Travelers' permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility. Housing options include newly remodeled studio or one-bedroom apartments nearby, available to travelers during their assignment. Candidates are required to submit a skills sheet and resume with their application. Ensure the correct Social Security Number and Date of Birth are entered in Medefis to avoid onboarding issues.
