Description
Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Santa Rosa, California. This position involves providing specialized surgical care within an acute care hospital setting. The role requires hands-on experience with trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic procedures, supporting a busy surgical department.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: California license in hand; minimum of 3 years of OR experience including trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic cases; certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic charting system; prior community hospital exposure; trauma Level I and II experience preferred.
- Float: Float rotation may be required between units and sister facilities.
- Additional Information: Night shifts may be needed as part of the contract; travelers must be willing to work two of the three major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year). Travel experience is required; references covering at least 1 year are necessary. Candidates should have specific charting experience with Epic and be prepared for periodic module completion.
