Job Summary
The Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular Registered Nurse is responsible for providing specialized patient care in the cardiovascular intensive care setting. This role involves evaluating patients, assisting physicians with patient treatment, and coordinating individualized plans of care based on patient assessments and clinical protocols. The position requires delivering evidence-based, patient-centric care while supporting the use of innovations and standards within a professional nursing practice model.

Job Details

• Location: 1945 NJ ROUTE 33, NEPTUNE, NJ 07753
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week; schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, every third weekend required, no holidays required, no on-call.
• Required Qualifications: ASN degree, NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license, BLS-AHA, ACLS-AHA, NIHSS, CEU Contact Stroke 4 Hours, Telemetry, 2+ years of experience working in Cardiovascular ICU required, strong telemetry, stepdown/surgical, thoracic, and vascular stepdown experience required, LVAD competency.
• Preferred Qualifications: BSN degree.
• Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, CEU Contact Stroke 4 Hours, valid NJ or multi-state licensed Registered Nurse license.
• Additional Information: The candidate must demonstrate competency in LVAD management and have a strong open-heart background. Responsibilities include managing care for post-cardiac surgery patients and operating advanced cardiovascular devices such as balloon pump, CCRT, ECMO, and Swan. The position involves multitasking in a high-acuity cardiovascular critical care environment.
