Job Summary:
Telemetry Nurse in Lewiston, ME, offers an exciting 10-week assignment at a regional hospital serving most of Androscoggin County. This position provides the opportunity to work in a facility that features 24/7 emergency care, cardiovascular services, and community-focused health programs. The role involves delivering specialized patient care within a dedicated telemetry unit.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; Certifications including ACLS, BLS, NIH with Cerner experience; 2 years of clinical experience; experience in telemetry, post-operative catheter care, cardiac drips with titration, management of dysrhythmias, and interpretation of dysrhythmias; strong cardiac care skills; location in Maine or willingness to relocate to Lewiston, ME
• Preferred Qualifications: PALS certification; experience managing stroke, CHF, A-fib, arrhythmias, and cardiac procedures
• Additional Information: The telemetry unit has 27 beds with patient ratios of 1:4-5, includes equipment such as Sigma Spectrum IV pumps, ceiling and portable hoyer lifts, portable cardiac monitors, defibrillators, and EKG machines. Electronic health records are managed with Omnicell and Cerner systems. The patient population includes general medical and surgical patients, as well as those with cardiac conditions and post-cardiac procedures.
