Job Summary:
The Emergency Room (ER) specialty registered nurse position is based in Altoona, Pennsylvania. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care within the emergency department, collaborating with the care team, and ensuring timely, compassionate treatment for patients presenting with urgent health issues. The ER nurse is responsible for managing patient care activities while demonstrating leadership and clinical expertise in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shift; 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; PA Act 31, PA Act 33, PA Act 34, and PA Act 73 licenses or certifications; 0 or more years of clinical experience; location in Pennsylvania.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in emergency nursing preferred.
• Additional Information: The ER nurse will perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. The role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment, and a strong commitment to patient safety and satisfaction. Flexibility with shift rotations and responsiveness to patient needs are essential.
