Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Gynecology Scrub RN position located in Iowa City, Iowa. This role involves providing specialized scrub assistance for gynecology surgeries within a trauma-equipped healthcare environment. The position requires strong skills in gynecology and trauma cases, and the ability to work primarily during daytime hours with some potential weekend and call rotations.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 0700 start, mainly weekdays, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, with possible weekend rotation (maximum once every 8 weeks), and call rotation.
- Required Qualifications: Valid IA/COMPACT nursing license, Level 1 trauma experience in work history, current RN license with scrubbing skills in gynecology, proficiency in trauma cases, and skill checklist for RN scrub.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in gynecology surgeries with trauma background preferred.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The role involves scrub duties for gynecology procedures, including trauma cases if applicable. Candidates must demonstrate strong scrub skills, trauma experience, and valid licensure for the state of Iowa.
