Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Postpartum (PP) located in Thornton, Colorado. This position involves providing comprehensive care to postpartum patients within a busy Post Partum and Gynecology unit. The role requires adapting to a fast-paced environment while delivering compassionate patient care during night shifts.
Job Details:
- Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license; current acute care experience in postpartum; BLS and NRP certifications; no minimum years of experience required
- Preferred Qualifications: Labor & Delivery experience; prior Meditech EMR experience
- Additional Information: The unit has 14 beds with a focus on postpartum and gynecology care, utilizing Beacon, CPN, and Meditech electronic medical records. The staff is experienced and values flexibility, adaptability, kindness, and positive communication. The unit performs procedures such as versions, cesarean sections, vaginal assisted deliveries, and D&Cs.
