Job Summary:
Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (RN) in the Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor specialty at a healthcare facility in Carlsbad, New Mexico. This position involves evaluating assigned patients, planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care, assisting physicians during examinations and procedures, and performing patient tests and medication administration within the scope of practice for registered nurses. The role requires a minimum of one year of experience and certification as a registered nurse.

Job Details:

Schedule: Nights shift, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must have an associate's degree, be a certified registered nurse, and possess at least 1 year of experience. BLS certification is required; ACLS and PALS are preferred.
Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
Additional Information: Fingerprints are required for all travel travelers in New Mexico. Patient ratio is 1:5. Blocked scheduling may be accommodated with inclusion in the submission body. Scrub color is flexible. EMR system used is MedHost. The position involves promoting patients' independence through education and establishing patient care goals. The role requires creativity, latitude, and experience to plan and accomplish patient care objectives.
