Job Summary:
The registered nurse specializing in medical-surgical with telemetry is sought for a facility located in Neptune, New Jersey. The role involves evaluating patients, assisting physicians with patient care, and developing individualized plans of care based on assessments and clinical needs. This position emphasizes providing evidence-based, patient-centered care while managing complex patient conditions in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week, with every other weekend required and one holiday obligation.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale), CEU (Continuing Education Units) contact hours, and at least 2 years of RN experience working in a medical-surgical/telemetry unit within a major acute care hospital setting. Undergraduate degree (ASN) required; BSN preferred. Employer requires RN licensure valid in New Jersey or a multi-state compact license.
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
• Skills: Telemetry nursing, hospice care, taking care of hospice patients, medical-surgical nursing.
• Certifications & Licensure: ACLS, BLS from AHA (American Heart Association), NIHSS, Telemetry, and RN license.
• Schedule Details: The shift spans 12 hours per day, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on August 31, 2026.
• Additional Information: The position requires floating responsibilities when needed and involves caring for hospice patients as part of the clinical duties. All candidates must be proficient in electronic medical records management using Epic EMR system.
