Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Professional position in Des Moines. This role involves providing specialized cardiac catheterization services in a fast-paced environment, with the opportunity to float across multiple campuses. The position requires current experience in cardiac cath/CCL procedures, with a focus on patient safety and quality care to support cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: 24 months of current Cardiac Cath/CCL experience; Iowa or compact/multistate license; Active AHA/ARC ACLS and BLS certification; Valid drivers license; Ability to work 24 months of Cath experience; Skills checklist specific to Cardiac Cath Lab; Ability to float across campuses if needed.
• Preferred Qualifications: Structural heart experience, electrophysiology (EP) experience, travel experience, scrubbing experience, monitoring experience, trauma level I experience, trauma level II experience.
• Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA).
• Submission Requirements: Professional references or performance evaluations from supervisors or managers within the past 24 months.
• Orientation Dates: 09/08/2026, 09/14/2026.
• Additional Information: The role involves working 1-2 summer holidays unless the unit is closed. The contractor will be required to work on-call nights and weekends, with specific call back and on-call multipliers. The candidate must be willing to float across all Des Moines campuses to similar units. For this specialty, scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring experience are preferred, and trauma experience is advantageous. The position emphasizes flexibility and clinical excellence.
