Description
Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in Issaquah, WA. This position involves providing exceptional patient care to women during labor and postpartum, including managing deliveries, postpartum care, and neonatal assessments. The role requires clinical expertise in obstetrics and a commitment to supporting families through the childbirth process.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift with 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Two years of experience in Labor and Delivery, current BLS (Basic Life Support) and NRN (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification, applicable state license (compact license accepted), and at least one year of clinical experience in labor and delivery.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with postpartum care, neonatal assessment, and obstetric procedures.
- Additional Information: Candidates may be required to float between Labor and Delivery and NICU units. Must be flexible to work 3 of the 5 holidays. Commitment to scheduled shifts and adherence to unit protocols is essential. Candidates must respond to screening questions regarding previous experience at Providence facilities and provide two references within the last three years.
