Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Department registered nurse position located at a facility on a beautiful campus. The role involves caring for obstetric patients in a high-volume setting, attending all deliveries including high-risk cases, and managing a variety of obstetric and gynecological procedures. This position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a focus on patient safety and staff camaraderie.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid compact license, at least 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery, Epic electronic charting system experience, active certifications including BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, and ACLS preferred
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified
• Float: Post-Partum, and possibly Labor & Delivery at sister facility
• Additional Information:
  • Prior charge nurse experience preferred
  • Must be willing to work three of the five holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve, and/or New Year's Day)
  • Experience with blood and blood product administration, high-risk delivery assistance, and use of special equipment such as epidural pumps and Wound Vac required
  • Must have excellent assessment and teaching skills for obstetric patients
  • Ability to attend all deliveries, including high-risk cases, and utilize specialized procedures and equipment as listed
  • Candidates are expected to float between nearby facilities if required and must adhere to scheduling and RTO policies
