Description

Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse position in Issaquah, Washington. This role involves providing specialized care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery. The position requires a comprehensive understanding of obstetric procedures, neonatal care, and the ability to respond efficiently in a high-pressure environment.

Job Details:

Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Two years of experience in Labor and Delivery, valid state license (compact license must be in hand at submission), BLS (Basic Life Support) and NRN (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with postpartum care, infant assessment, and neonatal procedures such as thermoregulation, phototherapy, and hypoglycemia management.
Float: Float rotation may be required to Neonatal Intensive Care Unit or Labor and Delivery units.
Additional Information: Candidates should be prepared to work on weekends and meet staffing needs according to unit requirements. Experience with electronic charting systems, particularly Epic, is necessary. Candidates must have at least 1 year of clinical experience in Labor and Delivery.
