Job Summary
Acute Care Registered Nurse (RN) for Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) located in Crystal River, Florida. This position involves providing direct patient care during interventional radiology procedures, including assessments, medication administration, and monitoring vital signs. The role requires being on call and working various weekdays within a 3-week schedule to support life-saving cardiac procedures.

Job Details

• Schedule: 10-hour days, Monday through Friday, with varying days depending on the week.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Nursing, completion of 500 hours PCI certification, minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cath RN working in a hospital with an open heart surgery program, current state licensure (Florida license required at time of submission), BLS, ACLS, and FL state or compact license.
• Preferred Qualifications: ICU experience is preferred.
• Additional Information: Provides direct care during advanced interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures such as STEMI, PCI, balloon angioplasty, stent placement, and PICC Line insertion. Maintains patient assessment duties including vital signs monitoring, medication administration, record keeping, and assisting during lifesaving actions such as CPR and defibrillation. Monitors patients during conscious sedation per physician instructions and uses necessary protective equipment. The role involves supervising and communicating directly with the Cath Lab manager for all patient care activities.
