Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse in Lancaster, Ohio. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care based on the nursing process, with a focus on providing high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced environment. The nurse will be responsible for supervising co-workers, delegating appropriate tasks, and ensuring adherence to established policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Associate degree in nursing; valid license to practice in the State of Ohio; CPR certification; 0 years of experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous nursing experience in emergency room settings; strong interpersonal and communication skills; problem-solving abilities; critical thinking skills.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for each patient according to the nursing process. Responsibilities include providing quality care based on assessment needs, patient education, accurate documentation, notifying physicians of pertinent changes, administering medications, and ensuring equipment and supplies are available for patient care. The position requires physical capacity for medium work, with the ability to exert exertion as needed.
