Job Summary:
The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) specialty position is located in Brooklyn, New York. This role involves providing post-anesthesia care services within the healthcare facility and requires adherence to hospital policies and procedures. The position offers an opportunity to work scheduled daytime shifts, supporting patient recovery and ensuring safety during the immediate post-operative phase.

Job Details:

• Shift Time: Days
• Shift Hours: 11.5 hours per shift
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 34.5 hours
• Start Date: 09/08/2026
• Float: Float rotation may be required. (Note: This position does not require float responsibilities.)
• Required Qualifications: Valid certification in the relevant clinical specialty, appropriate educational background, current licensure as a healthcare professional, and a minimum of one year of experience in post-anesthesia care or a related field.
• Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) are preferred. Clinical experience in high-volume PACU settings is advantageous.
• Additional Information: This position involves delivering post-surgical recovery care, monitoring patient vitals, managing pain and complication signs, and collaborating with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
