Description
Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse position in HILO, Hawaii. The organization is seeking a qualified HCP with at least three years of experience in labor and delivery. The role involves caring for laboring mothers, assisting with deliveries, and providing immediate postpartum care for mothers and newborns. This position requires candidates to have or obtain a Hawaii license prior to starting.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, including day and night options, with 12-hour shifts (36 hours weekly) following the initial week of orientation. Scheduled 12 hours call at least once per month.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). Labor and delivery skills with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Additional Information: Candidates must arrive the Thursday before the start date to attend an employee health appointment on Friday. The position is classified as normal urgency.
- Certifications: BLS & NRP (REQUIRED). STABLE & Advanced Fetal Monitoring (RECOMMENDED).
