Job Summary:
The healthcare facility located in Santa Rosa, California, is seeking a Surgical Technician (Operating Room Technician) for an acute care environment. The role involves supporting surgical procedures with a focus on orthopedic, neuro, vascular, robotics, and trauma cases. The position requires flexibility to float within the hospital and neighboring facilities, working day shifts starting at 9/21/2026.

Job Details:

• Shift Schedule: Days, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: CA state license (preferred), bands to 0 years of experience, willingness to work day shifts, and validity of certifications such as BLS. Experience in sterile technique, OR equipment, and specific skills related to surgical procedures preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Pending license accepted, valid CA license in hand, experience with Epic charting system, and at least 1 year of hospital or OR experience.
• Additional Information:
  • Travel experience required; candidates must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year).
  • Must be willing to float between hospital units and to nearby affiliated hospitals, with possible coverage for night shifts.
  • Specific equipment required includes a surgical microscope, laparoscopic camera and tower, and arthroscope equipment; preferred use of Stealth Navigation Station and da Vinci Xi Surgical System.
  • Must submit SSN, DOB, and RTO documentation at time of submission, along with two references covering the past year.
  • The assignment begins on 09/21/2026, with orientation hours detailed separately.
