Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) specialty position located in Arcadia, California. This role involves working in a surgical department focused on orthopedic and general non-invasive surgeries. The assignment is at a facility with a high census and employee turnover, requiring adaptable and experienced surgical technologists to support heavy surgical cases. The position offers a contract length of 13 weeks, with the possibility of extension.

Job Details

• Shift Details: Days, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of experience in surgery, at least 1 year of travel experience, 2 years of specialty-specific experience, ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) degree, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, and Certified Surgical Technologist license.
• Float: Float rotation to other departments such as Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and Operating Room/Genetic Interventional (OPS/GI) units may be required.
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts from 6:45 am to 3:15 pm.
• Assignment Duration: Standard 13 weeks, starting on 09/08/2026.
• Location: 300 W. Huntington Dr, Arcadia, CA 91007.
• Holiday Requirement: The traveler will be expected to work two of the three major holidays: Thanksgiving/Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day.
• Interview Process: Virtual/phone interview arranged by the hiring manager.
• Additional Notes: Scrubs will be provided; free parking is available at the employee parking structure; references are required with specified facilities including Keck, Norris, and Arcadia.
