Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in Nashville, Tennessee. This position involves providing specialized neonatal care in a dynamic hospital environment, with a focus on patient safety and comfort. The role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care to neonatal patients.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and STABLE certifications submitted in the application packet. No previous NICU experience is required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior NICU experience is preferred.

  • Number of Positions: 5
  • Unit Specifics: 60 beds, patient ratios of 2-3:1
  • Staffing includes unit secretaries, but no technicians in NICU
  • Equipment: Philips monitors
  • Documentation system: Meditech & Centricity Perinatal
  • Scheduling: Three 12-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends and holiday requirements
  • Float policy: Float to comparable areas of high need
