Description
Job Summary:
Surgical Technician operating room (OR) specialty position located in Kailua. This role involves assisting the surgical team with preparation, maintenance of sterile fields, and passing instruments during procedures. The position offers a consistent schedule with a daily shift during daytime hours.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shift, 10 hours per shift, scheduled to start on 09/06/2026, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: High School Education/GED or equivalent; Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor; 0.0 years of experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Associates/Technical Degree or equivalent; Scrub technician experience; Operating room experience and/or training course; Surgery Technician certification; Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
- Additional Information: Assists the surgical team during procedures by preparing supplies, assembling sterile fields, and ensuring aseptic technique. Responsible for instrument counts, equipment setup, and maintaining cleanliness of supplies and facilities. Transports patients according to schedule and completes clerical duties as needed.
