Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment in a hospital setting located in Austin, Texas. The role involves providing care in a 28-bed medical-surgical unit with a focus on telemetry, epilepsy care, and general patient management. The RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care, adhering to hospital policies, and collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team. This position offers an opportunity to work nights for a dedicated healthcare professional skilled in acute patient care.

Job Details:

• Location: 12221 N Mopac Expressway, Austin, TX 78758
• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts
• Schedule: Minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  • Valid RN license in the state of Texas
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Hospital experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry unit
  • Epilepsy care experience preferred
  • 3 or more years of nursing experience preferred but not required
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified

  • Unit features video EEG, Hoyer lift, bladder scanner, vital sign machine, telemetry
  • Typical patient ratios range from 5:1 to 6:1
  • Uniform dress code includes navy blue scrubs with hospital logo
