Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Roxboro, North Carolina. This role involves providing specialized critical care services within a full-service healthcare facility. The position offers a dynamic environment where compassionate patient care and clinical expertise are crucial to supporting adult and geriatric patient populations in a fast-paced setting.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), a minimum of 0 years of experience, and the ability to work in North Carolina.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in an ICU setting, knowledge of Meditech electronic health record system, and familiarity with critical care protocols.
• Additional Information: Orientation is conducted weekly on Mondays. Candidates must be at least 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel. Unit comprises 6 beds with patient ratios of approximately 1:8. Equipment includes standard ICU monitoring devices. The unit cares for a diverse patient population, including geriatric and adult patients with common diagnoses such as COPD exacerbation. The dress code requires navy blue scrubs; unacceptable attire includes any clothing not designated as scrubs.
