Description
Job Summary:
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Intermediate Care Unit, Lewiston, ME. This position involves providing specialized nursing care within an adult and geriatric-focused intermediate care setting. The role supports patients recovering from cardiac procedures, managing stable cardiac conditions, and delivering essential care in a 20-bed unit with a focus on cardiac telemetry.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM, with a guaranteed minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid LPN license, ACLS Certification, BLS Certification, a minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiac or intermediate care nursing, and proficiency with Epic electronic health record systems. Must be flexible in schedule and capable of managing adult and geriatric patient populations without pediatric care.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with stable STEMI cases, post-cardiac procedures, and medical intermediate care settings.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, adhering to facility policies, and maintaining compliance with safety and clinical standards. The unit utilizes Philips monitoring equipment and provides care primarily for adult and geriatric patients.
