Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse Tracy, California. This facility is seeking a dedicated and experienced Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse to join their team. The role involves providing compassionate care to mothers and newborns, assisting with deliveries, and ensuring safe and effective patient outcomes. The candidate should be comfortable with multiple aspects of obstetrical care and support clinical procedures in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: California Registered Nurse (RN) license; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support); NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program); Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification; minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery departments; comfortable with assisting with vaginal deliveries and C-sections; experience with external fetal monitoring and obstetrical procedures; CPR certified; ability to manage obstetrical emergencies and neonatal resuscitation.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge nurse experience, experience with community hospital settings, and familiarity with charting systems related to obstetric care.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have uploaded Nursys verification of CA RN licensure within the last 2 weeks and applicable certifications with valid expiration dates. Two references obtained within the last year are required. All compliance documents must be submitted 10 days prior to the start date, and initial labs need to be completed within 3-5 days of contract signing.
