Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor RN Kansas City, Missouri. This position involves providing direct patient care in a Level 1 Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center. The role requires experience with postoperative knee, hip, and shoulder replacements, trauma patients, and neuro overflow cases, supporting a busy medical-surgical unit.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: RN license, BLS certification, 3 years of experience in a medical-surgical setting, experience with orthopedic and trauma care, and ability to work dayshift hours.
• Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The unit has 23 beds with patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:5, utilizing traction, fixators, and cooling equipment. Documentation is maintained via Meditech. The team supports post-op orthopedic and trauma surgeries, with a focus on bedside shift reports and hourly rounding. Authorized personnel may float to other MedSurg care units including Nephrology and Neuro/Trauma units.
• Certifications Required: RN license, BLS certification.
