Description
Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist in Santa Cruz, California. This role involves supporting interventional and diagnostic cardiac procedures, including TAVR, EVAR, and other complex interventions in a fast-paced acute care setting. The position includes working in a two-suite catheterization lab with a focus on sedation monitoring and hemodynamic support.
Job Details
- Location: Santa Cruz, California
- Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); at least 2 years of experience in a cardiac catheterization environment
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with fluoroscopy, and knowledge of Cerner electronic charting system
- Float: No, float rotation not required
- Additional Information: Techs will scrub and do hemodynamic monitoring; nurses will handle sedation monitoring; registered nurses need to have conscious sedation testing as part of protocol. The hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks. Start date scheduled for 09/14/2026.
