Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse in a community hospital located in Mattoon, Illinois. The position involves providing acute care to adult and pediatric patients in a 27-bed emergency room environment. This role requires dedicated nursing professionals prepared to work night shifts and deliver high-quality patient care.

Job Details:

Position: Emergency Room RN (Registered Nurse)
Location: Mattoon, Illinois
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Start Date: 08/24/2026
Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); no minimum years of experience specified; must have 2-3 years of emergency room experience; educational requirements as per licensing standards.
Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred.
Additional Information: Candidates must have a permanent address verified to be at least 50 miles from the facility. A cover sheet is required for the application process.
