Description

Job Summary:
Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) position in Tampa, Florida. The role involves providing inpatient psychiatric care within a facility's mental health unit. This assignment is designed for experienced RNs who are comfortable working night shifts in a fast-paced psychiatric environment.

Job Details:

Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM 7:30 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) or HWC (Harassment and Workplace Violence Certification), minimum of 2 years of inpatient psychiatric experience, and prior experience with the EPIC electronic health record system
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic medication administration systems and a strong personality fit for psychiatric care settings
Additional Information:
- Unit Information: 36 beds with patient ratios of 1:12
- Equipment used: Omnicell medication dispensing system
- Patient Population: Adult mental health patients
- Dress Code: Scrubs in navy blue; crocs are not acceptable footwear
- Shift Hours: 12-hour shifts, starting on 08/17/2026
