Description
Job Summary:
Telemetry Nurse Nights Saint Louis, MO. This role involves providing specialized care to adult patients requiring cardiac monitoring and rhythm reading. The position requires the ability to manage cardiac medications and drips (without titration) and to monitor external pacemakers and chest tubes within an acute care hospital setting.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid licenses in Missouri or a compact state, ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications; 2 years of clinical experience in telemetry or cardiac care; experience with reading rhythms, cardiac medications, and drips (no titration); proficiency with Epic charting system; previous telemetry or cardiac patient care.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with external pacemakers, management of cardiac drips, and chest tubes; familiarity with emergent cardiac procedures and interpretation of dysrhythmias.
- Open to accommodating block schedule: No.
- Additional Information: Shift includes reading rhythms, managing cardiac medications and drips, external pacemakers, chest tubes, and telemetry monitoring. Must be comfortable with managing cardiac protocols and supporting complex cardiac patients.
