Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) nurse in a rural healthcare facility. The role involves providing specialized nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum, ensuring a safe and positive birthing experience. The position requires overseeing patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team, and supporting patient education and discharge planning.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN); Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS certification; AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per health care facility policy
• No minimum years of experience required
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in an acute care facility is preferred
• Additional Information: The position involves collecting and analyzing patient data, developing care plans, coordinating care delivery, and providing patient education. Candidate will participate in discharge planning and delegate duties to healthcare team members as appropriate. This role emphasizes patient safety, compassionate care, and teamwork.
