Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse MESA, Arizona. This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for neonatal patients in a high-acuity environment. The NICU Nurse is responsible for delivering specialized care to fragile newborns, ensuring safety, compliance with organizational standards, and promoting positive patient outcomes through evidence-based practice.

Job Details:

• Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current, valid RN license in the state of practice; BLS certification; at least 0 years of experience in a neonatal or similar acute care setting within the past 12 months
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing; professional certification in neonatal care or relevant specialty; additional related education or experience is a plus
• Additional Information: This role requires frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching. Must possess physical agility, good visual and auditory acuity, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds with proper body mechanics. Effective communication skills are essential for collaborating with team members, patients, and families. The position involves direct patient care in a direct care environment, following all safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
