Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse Mesa, AZ. This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for neonatal patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards. The role requires delivering high-quality care tailored to the physical and developmental needs of newborns in a hospital setting.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in the state of practice, BLS certification, relevant clinical experience in an acute care setting within the past 12 months, and successful demonstration of clinical competencies
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing and professional certification in neonatal or critical care nursing
- Additional Information: The role includes assessing patient needs, developing and revising care plans, coordinating with the healthcare team, documenting care activities, and participating in quality improvement activities. The position may involve supervising staff and engaging with patients' families, community providers, and external contacts to ensure comprehensive neonatal care.
