Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a registered nurse specializing in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) in Templeton, California. This position involves performing professional nursing functions, including patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. The role may also include functioning as a Scrub Technician when needed. The ideal candidate will promote cooperation among the healthcare team and ensure standards of nursing practice are met. This position is represented by CNA.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shift with start times at 8:00 AM, 10:00 AM, or 12:00 PM; minimum of 32 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of a school of nursing; current RN license in the state of practice; Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications from approved vendors; one year recent acute care RN experience in an operating room.
• Preferred Qualifications: Two years of Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) experience; PALS certification.
• Essential Functions: Maintain patient needs, assist in noise reduction, participate in Lean Daily Management, ensure privacy and accurate documentation, recognize emergencies, administer medications, provide patient education, and assist in staff development.
• Organizational Requirements: All associates must be vaccinated as a condition of employment, with exemptions for medical or religious reasons; complies with E-Verify requirements.
