Description
Job Summary:
The ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Registered Nurse position is located in San Antonio, TX. This role involves providing high-quality critical care to acutely ill patients in a specialized hospital setting. The position requires overseeing patient care, performing various procedures, and collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 09/14/2026
- Required Qualifications: Valid Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license, minimum 2 years of ICU experience, certifications in ACLS and BLS, and a minimum of 2-3 years ICU experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: MICU and MSICU background, IABP exposure, CRRT exposure, Meditech experience, and NIH Stroke Certification.
- Additional Information: Documentation system used is Meditech. Unit guidelines include badging in and out for each shift, taking a full 30-minute lunch, and punctuality with clock-in times (6:38 am/pm). The dress code requires navy scrubs with matching jackets, and body art should be covered when possible. Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited, and hair must be neat and clean. Floating policy and attendance policies apply as per unit guidelines.
