Job Summary:
Perinatal Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) located in Bishop, California. This role involves providing comprehensive care during antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal phases. The RN will be responsible for stabilizing neonates and ensuring patient safety across all stages of maternal and neonatal care, including fetal monitoring.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM; 48 hours per week guaranteed.
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of School of Nursing; current California State License as a Registered Nurse required; BSN/BA preferred; one year labor experience required or completed extended orientation meeting all expectations; BLS upon hire and ongoing; NRP within 6 months of hire and ongoing; Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification within 6 months of hire and ongoing; Gnosis annual assessment of EFM principles within 3 months of hire and ongoing; BFHI Lactation Education required or within 6 months of hire; interpersonal skills necessary for patient and family instruction; basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Intranet; ability to learn applicable patient care software; fluency in English.
• Additional Information: Position involves tasks with exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues. Must interpret life span needs of patients from neonate to geriatric and provide appropriate population-based care. No daily direct patient contact.
