Job Summary:
The healthcare provider is seeking a Registered Nurse with specialty in Step Down Unit in Atlanta, Georgia. This position involves providing care on a medical step down unit, managing a patient ratio of 1 to 4, with a focus on conditions such as sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, TDM2, substance abuse, status epilepticus, and encephalopathy. The role requires a minimum of two years of experience and certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS). It offers a night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, and a minimum commitment of 48 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: 2 years of experience, ACLS and BLS certifications, and a valid nursing license in Georgia.
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current registered nurse license in the state of Georgia, minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a step down or related unit, ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing patients with sepsis, heart failure, respiratory failure, COPD, or related conditions.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The position is located at a healthcare facility in Atlanta, Georgia, providing care for patients with complex medical needs requiring attentive monitoring and intervention.
