Job Summary
Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical with Telemetry at a healthcare facility in Manahawkin, New Jersey. This position involves evaluating patients, assisting physicians with patient care, and providing comprehensive nursing services on night shifts. The RN will develop individualized care plans, perform therapeutic interventions, and ensure documentation aligns with standards of practice.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 36 hours per week, with shifts lasting 12 hours each.
• Required Qualifications: ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) or higher; RN license (NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license); Certifications including BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, Telemetry, and IV therapy; a minimum of 2 years of RN experience working in a Medical Surgical with Telemetry unit in a major acute care hospital setting is preferred, with at least 0 years minimum experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Required Skills: EKG interpretation, cardiac monitoring, telemetry, medication administration, wound care, post-procedural care, patient education, discharge planning.
• Soft Skills: Critical thinking, communication skills, teamwork, empathy, time management, multitasking, adaptability, resilience, attention to detail.
• Certifications & Licenses: RN, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, Telemetry, IV.
• Additional Information: Potentially required to float to MS/Tele units, overflow units, or ED holds, based on operational needs.
