Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse position available in an acute care facility. The role involves providing safe, efficient, and age-specific nursing care to a diverse patient population, utilizing the nursing process to support patients in attaining and maintaining optimal health. The position requires delivering technical and relationship-based care, demonstrating clear communication, and collaborating effectively with the healthcare team.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Licensed registered nurse with current licensure in Ohio; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; familiarity with nursing process; proficiency with technical equipment such as stethoscopes, thermometers, sphygmomanometers, and electronic monitoring devices
• Preferred Qualifications: ACLS and PALS certifications may be required based on clinical setting; prior experience in emergency care setting is beneficial
• Additional Information: The role involves frequent encounters with Protected Health Information (PHI) during routine responsibilities. The unit is a 22-bed area with a Supertrack section, serving adult and pediatric patients aged 0 to over 100 years. It is designated as a Level 3 Trauma Center and a Stroke and Chest Pain Center.
• Submission Requirements: Professional drivers license or state ID, UHS submission packet, UHS prior employment form, and skills checklist/testing.
